
New Delhi: Defending the decision of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to abrogate Article 370 and 35-A, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said there was no space for anything temporary in the country. Modi was a speaking at a programme in Paris where he addressed the Indian community.
Although Modi did not name Article 370, he instead chose to use the word temporary in his speech. The Prime Minister also spoke about the government's decision to make instant triple talaq illegal and said it will empower the Muslim women in India, and the blessings of these women will strengthen the country.
